These are my very first handmade pieces: cups and bowls. Relatively inexperienced in pottery, I've learned a lot about how clay behaves. I've taken my first small steps in painting and glazing and seen how it all comes together when the pieces are finally in the kiln.
It's exciting to discover different forms and observe how hand and mind work together to achieve a particular shape (or not). And to give them colors and textures. For me, it's a lot of visual and tactile impressions. And after firing, I always have to get used to the final result.
